Don’t miss this awesome exhibition about Adolf Loos in Vienna.
Here some official insights about him:
Adolf Loos, born in 1870, lived and worked at the time of the Art Nouveau movement. But in contrast to Otto Wagner and others, he rejected the ornamentation of the period. His buildings and everyday objects were to be plain and unadorned. Loos’ influence on the building culture of the past 100 years is now the subject of the exhibition “Loos. Zeitgenössisch” in the MAK -Austrian Museum of Applied Art/Contemporary Art His minimal aesthetic paradigms and radical concept for an ethical world architecture found their way into the works of numerous architects of the Modern era – More on…http://www.vienna.info/en/sightseeing/museums-exhibitions/adolf-loos

Wonderful, and spacious apartment! Was extremely easy to get into the center of town, and Simone left us a book of her recommendations for Vienna. The only problem we faced was that the heater wasn’t working well, but we turned on the water heater and like magic our room warmed up! Just be warned that the thermostat didn’t work well for us. But this place was a great deal for a comfortable and clean apartment!

Alles lief absolut reibungslos.
