See what others say about our apartments…

Kimo, April 2012…If you arrive on a Sunday evening as I did, you could be forgiven for thinking that the area is anything but “up and coming”, as it looked pretty run down with just a few dodgy Turkish bars and “members clubs” in the area. The entry to the flat is also interesting – going through the entrance to a fruit / veg wholesalers, and up a very run down staircase to the flat.  That said, things change dramatically during the day, as the are turns into quite a cool square full of good cafes and restaurants with a fun, young, mixed crowd… definitely more the feeling of up and coming neighborhood with a lot of character.  The flat itself is a rental, rather than a place that someone calls home, so it don’t have much in the way of charm or personality. But it’s perfectly clean, quiet, and very comfortable for its size. A perfect place for a couple who wants to explore an alternative district of Vienna. It’s also very conveniently situated for anyone arriving at the West train station, with a nearby tram stop also serving as a convenient point for getting into the center (only about 10 min to the Opera house / City Hall area).  It’s not a place for everyone, but with the flat itself very clean and well maintained, if you have a taste for a kind of funky neighborhood that’s a mix of hipster, working-class and immigrant, then this is a very good choice. In the end I really enjoyed being here.         April 2012
